Bloomsburg Falls to West Chester in Lacrosse

BLOOMSBURG--The Bloomsburg University lacrosse team lost to West Chester on Saturday by a score of 22-2.

The Golden Rams jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of the game and were never threatened. The Huskies broke the run when Mary Chirichella (Petersburg, NJ/Ocean City) scored unassisted at the 13:50 mark. West Chester then scored the next three goals before the Huskies Allison McFatridge (Hatboro/Upper Moreland) scored off a Chirichella assist two and a half minutes before halftime.

In the second half, West Chester was able to shutout the Huskies while scoring 11 times.

Bloomsburg falls to 3-3, 3-1 in the PSAC, while West Chester goes to 6-0, 4-0 in the PSAC. The Huskies will be back in action on Wednesday hosting Lock Haven at 4 p.m.
